Pop star and iconic singer Dua Lipa made her appearance at the Stamford Bridge for the game against Fulham. However, she was not alone as she was accompanied by some of the cast members of an upcoming spy thriller movie ‘Argylle’.
The ten-time Grammy award winner was spotted in the stands of the iconic Stamford Bridge which has left the Internet rigging. Reactions flooded the internet as the English-Albanian singer was seen attending a Chelsea game for the first time. It also has to do with Chelsea’s inconsistent season.

One fan commented, “Rare Dua Lipa L.” Another quirked, “What is she doing there.” A third made a sarcastic comment stating, “Get her on.” A fourth said, “Zero pull.” A fifth took a dig at Dua Lipa’s choices and he said, “Who invited the Liverpool fan?”
Although few fans claimed about her connection with the London-based club, however, the real reason for her appearance was to promote her movie where she stars alongside Henry Cavill and Bryce Dallas Howard. All of these cast were seated behind Chelsea’s dugout as they participated in the promotional activities for their movie. As a token of appreciation, Chelsea manager, Mauricio Pochhetino wore an ‘Argylle’ batch on his coat.
What’s the reason behind Liverpool’s affection towards Dua Lipa
Dua Lipa has seemed to have a great fandom in the region of Merseyside. It is so obvious that Dua Lipa’s one of the best hits, ‘One Kiss’ has become an anthem for Liverpool over the last few years. From fans to players like Trent Alexander Arnold, everyone has been seen singing the banger at times.
It all started after Liverpool won the Carabao Cup in 2021/22. Fans were caught in surprise as the Liverpool players sang the song following their victory over Chelsea.
