WWE and UFC previously presented a historic moment to the world. The two entertainment giants merged to form a publicly traded company named TKO Group Holdings. With that, many wondered about the consequences of the merger. While, nothing was known earlier, as of now, a new report has come into the spotlight.
TKO leaders recently announced that former WWE CEO Vince McMahon will be selling 8.4 Million shares of his stock in the newly formed company. Not only that, it has also been reported that the stock that will be sold is valued at around $700,000,000 approximately.
Since the announcement has come into the spotlight, fans have been unable to keep their calm. With that, fans took to their social media handles to comment on Vince’s latest move.

Several fans gathered to express their thoughts on TKO’s latest announcement. Many are of the opinion that Vince will soon call it quits. However, some of them stated their views saying the former WWE CEO will soon buy AEW, in order to compete against the likes of WWE. One fan wrote, “Buy AEW now and compete against wwe”. Vince McMahon was previously the kingpin of WWE. He was the founder, Chairman, and CEO of the Stamford-based promotion. Meanwhile, in July 2022, Vince voluntarily took his retirement from the company. However, the world witnessed with surprise as McMahon returned to WWE in 2023 and took up the role of executive chairman.
It was reported that Vince McMahon made his return to the Stamford-based promotion to go ahead with a potential sale of the company. Not long after that, it was announced that Endeavor had purchased WWE, and going forward the merger took place. Following the deal, McMahon became the executive chairman of the newly formed company. He also earned 16.4 percent in TKO Group.
However, as of now, the executive chairman of TKO has decided to sell all his stocks. With that, there have been speculations going on that after selling all his stocks, Vince has plans of potentially exiting WWE.

While there’s it has not been confirmed yet, Vince’s retirement might be a possibility. This is because McMahon is currently 78 years of age and in addition to that he will be bagging a whopping $700 million from the sale. Thus, it would be a perfect scenario to finally call it quits.
However, no one knows what plans the former WWE kingpin has in mind. Fans will surely look forward to the outcome of the sale. Also, it is to be seen if Vince McMahon’s decision will affect the largest wrestling promotion in the world in the upcoming days.
