Whilst some may feel that the two title fights did not deliver as hoped, it was still an enjoyable night. Moreover, even Sean Strickland and Dricus du Plessis broke into a fight during the event. However, the juicy part came afterward when Dana White announced a stacked card for UFC 299 in Miami. One notable mention here was Michael ‘Venom’ Page vs Kevin Holland.
Previously, the fight had been leaked to have been in place for UFC 297 in January 2024. However, with Michael Page’s deal signed just recently, it makes sense that the fight is set for March 9. Interestingly, the card will also feature the likes of Gilbert Burns, Petr Yan, Song Yadong, Jack Della Maddalena, and UFC 296 absentee, Ian Garry.
