The WWE Survivor Series is hardly a fortnight away, and the fans can’t keep calm. The recent episode of Monday Night RAW saw further developments in the storyline leading to the upcoming Premium Live Event. One man who left the WWE Universe excited for his return is Randy Orton.
The recent edition of RAW concluded with Jey Uso and Cody Rhodes taking up the ring. However, as soon as RAW went off the air, Cody said, “Spoiler alert, Jey Uso & I have friends too.” To this, the entire Capital One Arena in Washington, DC, started echoing with Randy Orton’s chants.

With this being said, the possibility of Randy Orton returning to WWE has increased tremendously. At Survivor Series, Cody Rhodes and Jey Uso will pair up with Seth Rollins and Sami Zayn to take on The Judgement Day. Cody’s recent statement has given a hint for an additional interruption that will be brought amidst the match.
Latest reports on Randy Orton’s WWE Return
Randy Orton took his leave from WWE in 2022 after suffering a back injury. The news of his return was confirmed by Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful Wrestling this year. He wrote, “Fightful Select has learned WWE has been planning to have Randy Orton back by Survivor Series.”

Back in September 2023, Orton was spotted at the WWE Performance Centre, leading the fans to believe that he was ready for an in-ring return. With Cody’s teaser, the WWE Universe has gathered all the more momentum to look up to Orton’s return eagerly.
Randy Orton’s back injury that forced him into a long WWE hiatus
WWE’s ‘Viper’ Randy Orton last appeared on May 2022’s edition of the promotion, where he received brutal smacks from The Bloodline. This was the last of his WWE appearances to date. Following his injury, he went through surgery in November 2022.
His wife, Kim Orton, shared the update on his successful surgery via an Instagram post. Though not in the best state, Orton’s well-wishers were quick to notice the immense change in his health.

While nothing of his return was revealed then, he is now all set to return to the ring. Another picture surfaced on the net, showcasing his well-built physique. It is clear that The Viper is in his best possible shape. With a few months of training, the WWE legend can make a jaw-dropping comeback and leave the fans on top of their voices.
