CJ Perry, better known as Lana by WWE fans, is currently undergoing a quite tough time in her life. Initially, after joining AEW to support her husband, Miro, the two didn’t match well in the storyline. This led to an on-screen rift between the two. Eventually, CJ went ahead to manage other clients, the latest one being Andrade El Idolo.
Despite her constant appearances alongside her clients, Perry was compelled to miss her presence at AEW two days ago. She took to X to reveal the cause behind her absence. “The infection from my small finger has gone up my arm,” she wrote.
#CMLL Please keep me in your prayers I’m at the ER @vphcares. The infection from my small finger has gone up my arm. I am so sorry I had to miss last night and @AEW tonight. I look forward to debuting in Mexico with @AndradeElIdolo. Good luck @ToBeMiro and my client… pic.twitter.com/UcFAg9WLU2

In addition to this, she shared a picture of her swollen finger that initially had the infection, which spread to her arm, causing a rash near her elbow. CJ Perry took to X yet again to give her fans an update on her condition. “I have been in the ER and hospital for over 50 hours. The infection has gotten worse and I’m going into surgery tonight,” she wrote.

Apart from this, CJ Perry also asked the fans to keep her in their prayers. The fans and her co-stars didn’t fail to drop words of motivation and well wishes for the AEW star. As bad as the infection seems, fans are confident that CJ would have a successful surgery and would soon recover from it.
Miro gives another update about CJ Perry’s surgery
Miroslav Petrov Barnyashev aka Miro and CJ Perry, have been married for over seven years. The two spent their time together inside the ring at WWE as well as at AEW. While they had a pretty romantic storyline in the Triple H-led promotion, things are not the same at AEW. The two went ahead to walk on different paths after CJ accused Miro of having lost his way.

“If there’s any love in your heart for me, please do not lay a hand on any of my future clients or people I’m going to manage,” she sternly told him back in September. However, the warning was only part of the storyline. In real life, the couple is still together and Miro has well wishes for his better half.
The 37-year-old star took to his Instagram stories to share a glimpse of his wife going in for surgery. “Going in for surgery,” he wrote with a picture of CJ on the hospital bed. While it is still unknown as to how CJ Perry was infected, fans have her health in their prayers.
