Throughout his 13-year career, the Stanford Cardinal star got 565 receptions and 55 TDs for 7,422 yards. His career was full of ups and downs as he suffered several injuries. After inspiring many young football players, Ed McCaffrey announced his retirement in February 2004.
After quitting the NFL, the former NFL legend took to coaching. Ed McCaffrey served as the head coach for Valor Christian High School for 2 years. After that, he went on to coach the Northern Colorado Bears as well. However, the team fired the 215 lb former wide receiver in November last year.
