Coco Gauff has been in sensational form in the lead-up to the US Open. She has won two titles in the span of weeks on her home soil, with one of them being a WTA 1000 event. As influential as Gauff has been on the tennis court, she is influential off the court too.
Prior to the commencement of the US Open, Gauff launched the new “City Brights” colorway. It is a step up from her signature shoe, the Coco CG1. In a bid to ensure that all eyes stayed on her at the last Grand Slam of the year, Gauff also unveiled her outfit for the tournament.
The new colorway captures the spirit that Coco brings to her game. The shoes are as electrifying as the US Open- a vibrant yellow-green with contrasting shades of red and brown. So far, Gauff has paired up her shoes with either a yellow crop top and a matching skirt or a red crop top with a brown skirt.

Gauff’s family has also been involved in the designing process for the City Brights. It was Coco’s mother and aunt, who recommended that they go ahead with red and brown, as they match her skin tone.
While Coco is improving her game with each passing day, she is yet to figure out what she loves outside of tennis. “I’m really trying to find myself I guess outside of tennis because I do want to venture out into other things. I just haven’t found what really speaks to me,” said Gauff (via Tennis.com).
Coco Gauff has made a name for herself with her achievements, inspiring children to pick up the racket. But tennis, aside, Gauff has quickly become a fashion icon.
