NBA fans aren’t buying into the claims and reports regarding Zion Williamson. As several members of the basketball community should be aware, Williamson is a young star for the New Orleans Pelicans and had an incredible amount of hype surrounding him when he entered the NBA with the first pick of the 2019 NBA Draft.
Although this decision made sense at the time, given his incredible talent and skill, the injuries and health issues that Williamson has been dealing with over the past few years have led fans to grow increasingly skeptical regarding his potential rise as an NBA star.
There is no denying that Zion has a lot to prove. However, his attempts to improve and get prepared for next season are not being blindly accepted by NBA fans. With that being said, let us take a closer look and find out more.
The New Orleans Pelicans claim that Zion Williamson is in the best shape of his life
While fans show the tendency to blow things out of proportion at times, there is no underplaying the difficulties that Zion has faced over the past 3 years of his NBA career. He played in only 24 games during his rookie season before being sidelined due to injuries.

Zion took part in 61 games out of the 82-game regular season for the 2020-2021 NBA season. However, he missed the 2021-2022 season completely due to a foot injury. Last season, Zion played in just 29 regular season games before suffering a hamstring injury and being sidelined once again.
Since this is now turning into a pattern, fans were quite skeptical when the New Orleans Pelicans sent out a report revealing that Williamson is in good shape and spending a lot of time working on this game at the gym.

Upon hearing this report, fans were quick to make their doubts clear, “Bro says this every year.” His injury history and health complications appear to prevent fans from believing that he is about to have a healthy NBA season.

In any case, we look forward to witnessing the results that Willamson has managed to achieve with all the work he has been putting in throughout this offseason. He will undoubtedly be able to prove doubters wrong by merely remaining healthy for the New Orleans Pelicans next season.
