American tennis star Jessica Pegula is at the height of her career at the moment. The world number four has been playing exceptionally well, making deep runs at tournaments consistently. Off the court, Pegula is a very well-put-together person, with never a hair out of place. Hence, imagine the horror of a fashion faux pas at a players’ party!
Pegula is currently in Seoul, playing at the Hana Bank Korea Open. She looked great in her outfit—a simple cream-colored jacket with a black shirt underneath. While it was a casual fit, she did end up unintentionally sporting an added accessory—the price tag.
An account shared a picture of Jessica from the party when the player noticed the wardrobe malfunction. Pegula took it in stride as she poked fun at herself for not getting rid of the tag.
When you forget to take the tag off your jacket but still look cute ☠️ https://t.co/65W4Ii77yi

Despite the wardrobe malfunction, Pegula has played brilliantly in Seoul so far. South Korea holds a special place in her heart, as her mother Kim was born in the country. The last time she had played in the city, she had been ranked 78th in the world. This time around, she is one of the top 5 players, with several titles to her name.
Ever since Jessica pointed out her red carpet blunder, fans have joined in to tease her too. Andy Murray’s mother, Judy Murray was also amused by it. One fan felt it was because of her traveling so much, as they wrote, “Blame it on the jetlag.” Here are a few reactions to the hilarious incident.
Blame it on the jet lag😅

Jessica Pegula has stamped her authority on the tennis courts this season. The world number four will hope to continue in this vein in the final of the Korea Open.
Jessica Pegula has performed consistently this year
The American star has been one of the most consistent players on the tour this year. She has made deep runs at most tournaments she has played in and even won the Canadian Open, her second WTA 1000 title.
Jessica kicked off her Asian swing in style too. She made it to the finals of the Pan Pacific Open in Tokyo, where she lost to the eventual champion, Veronika Kudermetova.
