WWE star Nia Jax recently surprised the audience as she made her long-awaited return on the September 11 episode of Monday Night RAW. Making her first appearance since this year’s Royal Rumble event, the 3-time Women’s Champion assaulted “The Eradicator,” Rhea Ripley.
With her return to the Stamford-based promotion, there have been rumors that Nia could be the next possible member of The Bloodline. But in the midst of all speculations fans have been targeting Roman Reigns’ cousin for legitimately hurting WWE star Kairi Sane in 2020.
As the pro wrestling audience has been lashing out at Jax for this past incident, Asuka has recently come out in support of the returning star. Sharing her support for The Tribal Chief‘s cousin, The World Famous shared a tweet on her X handle.
Wrestlers fight knowing that there is a possibility of injury.
Kairi doesn’t blame anyone for her injuries.
She is not stupid.
But are you a victim? https://t.co/KQ5fDcrfuk— ASUKA / 明日華 (@WWEAsuka) September 12, 2023
Replying to a viral post against Nia for injuring Kairi, The Empress of Tomorrow defended the 3-time Women’s Champion. Asuka said, “Wrestlers fight knowing that there is a possibility of injury. Kairi doesn’t blame anyone for her injuries. She is not stupid. But are you a victim?” (Via: X)
It must be noted that Sane got injured during a match against Nia Jax on a RAW episode in June 2020. After the incident, the audience blamed Nia for the injury, as she was considered to be at fault. Even though Nia’s WWE departure happened in 2021, many feel that this incident played a huge role in her exit from the company.
WWE fans not happy with Triple H signing back Nia Jax
It’s evident that Nia Jax’s actions on the recent episode of RAW have made her the talk of the industry, but WWE fans aren’t that happy after her return. The audience has been bashing Triple H for signing back the former Women’s Champion.
The reason behind fans’ disapproval of the dominating female superstar’s return to the Stamford-based promotion is her history of injuring her opponents. In the past, Nia Jax has been involved in a number of incidents where she was considered to be at fault for such mishappenings , and it has led to backlash upon her return.
Questioning if The Game really thinks Nia Jax’s return was necessary, a WWE fan wrote, “Triple H really thought it was a good idea to bring back Nia Jax.” “Triple H gotta be the worst booker of all time for bringing Nia Jax back again,” another audience member said while taking a toll on HHH’s abilities as a booker. Looking at how fans have been blaming Triple H for bringing back the former Women’s Champion, it’s evident that they are quite disappointed by this decision. Thus, it becomes even more important for Nia to prove the audience wrong and make her return a memorable one. It remains to be seen how WWE handles her in the upcoming weeks.
