Adam Copeland, aka Edge, was previously a part of WWE for 25 years. During his time in the promotion, he has gained immense popularity and has presented a remarkable run to his fans. However, recently he embarked on a new path and walked into AEW. Now that Copeland is a part of AEW, he has opened up several possibilities.
Copeland recently appeared in an interview with Sports Illustrated. During that, he went on to reveal his dream venue. He said, “I’ve never wrestled at Wrestle Kingdom. I’ve never wrestled at Tokyo Dome”.

How about a match against Kazuchika Okada? That would be pretty cool.”

The WWE Hall of Famer then went on to talk about the potential matches and opponents he would like to face. He said a match against Kazuchika Okada would be “pretty cool”. He then talked about facing Jon Moxley, Bryan Danielson, Miro, Claudio Castagnoli, Kenny Omega, Will Ospreay, Adam Page, Chris Jericho, Malakai Black, and even FTR in a tag team match.
The former WWE superstar continued, “Teaming with Darby against the Young Bucks? Facing Darby? Facing Sting? A promo battle with Eddie Kingston? The possibilities, they’re keeping me awake at night. These new matchups are all super exciting”.
Adam Copeland via SI says that he has long desired to wrestle for NJPW. And within the parameters of WWE, that simply could not happen. But that is an altogether different scenario when employed by AEW:

Thus, it seems Copeland has his own list of dream opponents whom he would like to face. While the majority of the names are of AEW Superstars, the list also contains the name of NJPW’s Kazuchika Okada. Keeping in mind that AEW works with other promotions, it might even be a possibility.
It can very well be understood that the Rated R Superstar is extremely excited for his run ahead with his new promotion. It is even amusing to know that after signing with AEW, the 49-year-old is “awake at night” owing to thinking about the possible feuds he could be a part of in the upcoming days.
Take a look at WWE Hall of Famer Edge aka Adam Copeland’s AEW debut
After spending over two decades in WWE, Edge’s last match in the promotion came on August 18, 2023. Following that, speculations were rising about the WWE Superstar becoming a part of AEW. However, that didn’t have to last long since Adam Copeland walked into the Tony Khan-led promotion.
Edge’s AEW debut took place at the WrestleDream 2023 PPV event. The main event of the show featured a match between Christian Cage and Darby Allin for the AEW TNT Championship. The outcome of the match saw Cage bag the TNT title by defeating Allin. However, following the match, Cage and Nick Wayne started destroying Allin.
Sting came to the help of Allin, but he himself got taken down by Luchasaurus. In such circumstances, Edge walked out with his theme and was called the ‘Rated R Superstar’ Adam Copeland by the commentators. Thereafter, he decimated Luchasaurus and Wayne and sided with Allin and Sting.
Copeland’s debut received a huge reaction from the crowd. His fans absolutely loved it. However, now it seems the wrestling legend is himself excited about his upcoming days. Now fans would wait with eagerness to see if their favorite superstar would indeed be a part of the dream matches he has penned down on his list.
