The Stamford-based promotion WWE has once again created an atmosphere of excitement among fans with its latest announcement. The largest wrestling promotion in the world has recently announced that its flagship show, RAW, is making its jump to Netflix.
With that, it is to be noted that from January 2025, Netflix will exclusively stream Monday Night RAW in countries such as the US, UK, Canada, and Latin America. It has also been reported that it’s a $5 billion deal that has been locked in for 10 years.
Meanwhile, the Chief Content Officer of WWE has shared his thoughts on the matter. Recently, Triple H took his ‘X’ handle to state that the partnership between RAW and Netflix will “break new ground” and take the Stamford-based promotion to “new heights.” He added that they are thrilled to bring RAW to Netflix in January 2025.

Finally, Triple H wrote, “Now we change the game!!!!”. With that, it seems TKO Group is indeed planning to change the game because, as of now, Netflix has around 247.2 million subscribers worldwide. Thus, RAW becoming a part of Netflix might indeed be a masterstroke for the Stamford-based promotion and its flagship show.
WWE President Nick Khan shared his thoughts on TKO’s new deal with Netflix
Recently, Triple H took to his social media handle to share his thoughts on RAW becoming a part of Netflix. However, now it seems WWE President Nick Khan has also opened up about TKO’s new deal with Netflix. Khan said, “In its relatively short history, Netflix has engineered a phenomenal track record for storytelling”.

The WWE President added that they believed that Netflix, which is one of the “world’s leading entertainment brands,” would be the ideal home for Monday Night RAW’s constantly expanding fanbase. Thus, it seems Nick Khan is extremely hopeful about TKO’s new deal with Netflix.
WWE fans also reacted to the new deal
Besides Triple H and Nick Khan, WWE fans also reacted to the new deal between Netflix and WWE RAW. The news of RAW becoming a part of the entertainment brand caught the attention of the entire pro wrestling community. With that, as soon as ‘The Game’ took his ‘X’ handle to share his thoughts on the matter, fans immediately gathered in the comments section of the post.
It seems that while some fans are happy with the new announcement, the majority of the fans are a bit disappointed with the news. One fan stated that the new deal will lead to many people being “priced out” of watching WWE. Another fan commented, “This is not game changing this is forcing your fans to pay another $20 for programming a month”.
Meanwhile, different fans went on to share varied opinions on the new groundbreaking deal. While some of them seemed disappointed, a few of them had a particular question to ask. With that, one fan wrote, “What’s happening to The WWE network”.

Thus, it seems the deal between TKO and Netflix has brought mixed reactions from the fans. However, there’s still time before RAW exclusively becomes a part of the entertainment brand. It will then be interesting to see how the largest wrestling promotion in the world and the leading entertainment brand will be able to keep the fans entertained throughout the year.
