The Sacramento Kings and Utah Jazz could barely create much separation during the first half of the game. Ultimately, Harrison Barnes had a couple of key baskets during the third quarter allowing the Kings to gain a significant lead. But during the final quarter, the Kings took equal responsibility for maintaining the lead they had given themselves.

Sacramento secured a 127-106 victory at the Golden 1 Center. They currently rank 7th in the Western Conference. At this point, it is anybody’s game between the 5th and 8th seeds. All four teams have good chances of surpassing the Play-In Tournament. The Jazz lost out of playoff contention long ago.

De’Aaron Fox led the pack with 24 points, 12 assists, and 6 rebounds. Murray contributed a team-high 25 points while Domantas Sabonis only had 17 points, 11 rebounds, and 6 assists. Trey Lyles came off the bench and scored 11 points, 4 rebounds, and 3 assists shooting 3-5 from deep.

All we can say is that the Jazz tried their best against the King. Utah shot 41% from the field, 39% from deep, and 78.6% from the free throw line. They could have done better under any other circumstance but injuries often get the best of teams. Brice Sansabaugh led the team with 22 points, 4 rebounds, and 3 assists shooting 5-10 from deep.
