The Los Angeles Clippers recently faced the Milwaukee Bucks at the Fiserv Forum. The Bucks managed to win the game 106-113 even without their superstar Giannis Antetokounmpo. The Greek player was forced to the sidelines after feeling some discomfort in his Achilles. He decided to sit out the game against the Clippers after the warmup.

Milwaukee Bucks player stats
Player | Minutes | Points | Assists | Rebounds |
Damian Lillard | 42 | 41 | 4 | 4 |
Patrick Beverley | 34 | 12 | 2 | 9 |
Malik Beasley | 29 | 5 | 2 | 4 |
Bobby Portis Jr. | 30 | 28 | 2 | 16 |
Jae Crowder | 18 | 5 | 2 | 4 |
Brook Lopez | 31 | 6 | 3 | 6 |
AJ Green | 22 | 6 | 3 | 2 |
Pat Connaughton | 17 | 8 | 0 | 1 |
Danilo Gallinari | 17 | 4 | 3 | 2 |
Other than Dame, Bobby Portis Jr. also contributed decently in the scoring department, with 28 points. He was sensational on defense as well, making 15 defensive rebounds out of 16 total. It certainly looks like Dame was the nightmare for the Clippers in offense, as Portis Jr. was on defense.
Los Angeles Clippers player stats
The Los Angeles Clippers went into the game without one of their key players, Russell Westbrook. The former LA Lakers player suffered a hand fracture and reports claim that he will be missing a significant amount of time.
Player | Minutes | Points | Assists | Rebounds |
Kawhi Leonard | 37 | 16 | 5 | 4 |
Paul George | 36 | 29 | 1 | 5 |
James Harden | 37 | 29 | 8 | 4 |
Ivica Zubac | 24 | 6 | 4 | 11 |
Terance Mann | 19 | 4 | 1 | 3 |
Norman Powell | 34 | 6 | 3 | 3 |
Amir Coffey | 26 | 4 | 1 | 1 |
Daniel Theis | 15 | 7 | 1 | 6 |
Nah’Shon Hyland | 11 | 5 | 1 | 1 |
The Bucks managed to keep Kawhi Leonard at bay, who made just 16 points. But Paul George and James Harden managed to score 29 points each, which wasn’t enough for them to take the win as well.
It is quite surprising that the Bucks managed to get past the in-form Clippers even without the face of their franchise, and it speaks at length about their resurgence since the 2024 NBA All-Star Game under Doc Rivers.
