The Los Angeles Lakers faced off against the Memphis Grizzlies in their home debut of the NBA In-Season tournament. Anthony Davis made the headlines as all hell broke loose in the 1st quarter of the match itself. The Lakers Vs Memphis games have always been heated; this one was on another level.
In the first quarter, Anthony Davis lost his cool and pushed Grizzlies’ Santi Aldama below the rim. This caused major havoc on the court which led to players coming in a brawl. Fans could not hold back their excitement and were amused by what they saw. Many took to social media sites and apps to put forward their thoughts on the incident.

One fan wrote, “This Is What the Lakers Need” in support of Davis. The Lakers fans were all in support of Davis and this is what they needed basically, a heated moment to get them going in the game. It remains to be seen how this story unfolds.
Expect some more chippy action as the game progresses because there are still more than three quarters left in this In-Season tournament match. Hopefully, at least from the Lakers’ perspective, there aren’t any ejections after four players were given technical fouls.
Anthony Davis and Santi Aldama received technical fouls
The first quarter of the Lakers vs Grizzlies game was packed with entertainment. A lot of carnage went down in the first quarter, the major story here is Anthony Davis pushing Santi Aldama below the rim. Surprisingly, Davis was not ejected after this incident and was instead given a technical foul.

Not only did Davis receive a technical foul, but Santi Aldama too received one. After the push which led to a tussle between the Lakers and Memphis players, players like Desmond Bane and D’Angelo Russell also received technical fouls.
Taylor Jenkins, Memphis’ coach also received a technical foul in a bust-up with one of the referees. The first quarter saw everything unfolding and the fans were just left gobsmacked by what they were viewing in front of their eyes.
Anthony Davis made back-to-back blocks against Jaren Jackson Jr
Davis was in serious mode after the incident took place. He made sure that no one went past him and that is what exactly happened with Jaren Jackson Jr. The first quarter was quite thrilling and Davis was at the center of it all.

With 9 minutes left on the clock of the 1st quarter, Davis showed the entire NBA community why he is regarded as one of the best defenders in the league. Jaren Jackson Jr had his shots blocked back to back by Davis which led to a big roar in the Crypto Arena.
It remains to be seen what happens next with the Lakers and Davis. But for now, they seem to be cruising with the likes of Anthony Davis and LeBron James in their squad. For them to achieve any kind of success this year, Davis and James will have to perform at their flying best.
