Michael Jordan and Scottie Pippen’s names more often than not were taken together. The duo left a legacy together as they took the Chicago Bulls to greater heights. It is undeniable that they make for the most iconic duo that the NBA has ever witnessed. Not only were they great together on the court but their stories about their friendship off the court were inspirational.
However, things started to go wrong, and the beef between Jordan and Scottie Pippen came to the surface. This can be traced back down to the release of the docuseries ‘The Last Dance’. It is no secret that Pippen was not happy with the way he or other teammates were portrayed, and due to this, their feud started. While one of the other Bulls’ players, Scott Williams had a hot take on this.

Yet another player who closely knew the duo and won championships with them believes that “They’re Gonna Work It Out”. As reported by TMZ, Dennis Rodman spoke about the relationship between Jordan and Pippen. He stated how Pippen has gotten bitter, whereas Jordan is more laid back in the situation.
In his own words, “It’s just a lot of things that’s happened over the last couple of years. So, I think Scottie’s a little bitter, and Michael’s more laid back and say, ‘Okay, like whatever,’ but they’re gonna work it out”. Pippen who was once grateful to Jordan for carrying him for 11 seasons, turned to calling him a horrible player to play with.
Dennis Rodman never saw Michael Jordan and Scottie Pippen fight during the ’90s
The relationship between Michael Jordan and Scottie Pippen before their famous beef was nothing short of an inspiration. His Airness considered Pippen his younger brother and always had his back, on and off the court. In addition to this, Jordan was also ready to fight with him against none other than Dennis Rodman.
Before Rodman became a part of the Bulls’ roaster, he was in the rivalry team Deloris Pistons. Going against Pippen’s warning, Jordan got Rodman on the team. It seems like it was a good decision as the trio won three championships together. Speaking of the time when he was playing with Jordan and Pippen, Rodman claimed that he never saw them fighting.
Almost each and every player who has either player with them or against them wishes that they work things out and get back to what they had. However, as the relationship between Scottie’s ex-wife and Michael’s son has come to light it seems unlikely. Larsa Pippen and Marcus Jordan are discussing wedding plans and adding more and more intriguing layers to the already strained relationship.
