The Nike Kobe 4 Proto sneakers are making a comeback this year. Fans have already been showered with a massive lineup of releases over the last couple of weeks. Last month, Vanessa Bryant and the team that leads Kobe Bryant‘s Nike signature lineup worked on a tribute release to commemorate his 45th birth anniversary. They released a special colorway under the Kobe 8 Proto line called HALO. This is an all-white colorway that features a few key components of the Black Mamba signature line. The logo and his signature are on the heel of the shoe. But this hasn’t been the only release.

Nike has also reissued one of Kobe’s biggest releases, the Grinches. These shoes feature a snakeskin finish and are painted in neon green with the Mamba logo in solid red. Reverse Grinches were also released with the logo in neon green and the body of the shoe in a pigmented red hue. Nike is scheduled to bring back another iconic edition of Kobe Bryant’s signature shoes. The Nike Kobe 4 Proto ‘Black Mamba’ sneakers were recently teased by Nice Kicks on X (formerly Twitter). These sneakers are entirely coated in black with snakeskin trims and a glossy black logo. The only hint of color on this sneaker will be Kobe’s signature in gold on the heel. It has a very minimalistic look which perfectly suits the modernized attire people usually wear these days.
Based on what they’ve seen, fans have shown a lot of love online. Especially since Nike is putting in a lot of effort to keep the spirit of Kobe Bryant and his legacy alive. As of now, Nike and Vanessa Bryant have been working hard to reboot Kobe’s dream of providing women and young children with the necessary guidance in sports. However, the tentative date set for the Nike Kobe 4 Proto ‘Black Mamba’ is December 26, 2023. Each pair will most likely cost $180 and will be available at shoe stores as well as virtual stores.
