The Miami Heat just beat the Denver Nuggets in Game 2 of the 2023 NBA Finals. It would be safe to say that the Heat is continuing to impress fans all over the world with their resilience on the court. Despite injuries to some of their key players, the Heat have managed to take down even the mightiest teams this year. Along with Jimmy Butler, Bam Adebayo, Caleb Martin, and Gabe Vincent have also been the standout performers.
Bam has been crucial for the Heat in defense and has played a pivotal role in every one of their wins so far. That was the case in Game 2. Bam made 21 points and 4 assists, along with an impressive 9 rebounds. He led in the scoring department among Heat players, along with Butler.
His defense on the night was top-notch, even though Nikola Jokic managed to put up 41 points. Despite an entertaining game, Bam’s incident after the game caught fans’ eyes.
What really happened between Bam Adebayo and the reporter?
Adebayo was seen going at it when a reporter approached him. What he said was not clear at first but the mics close to the pair at the time picked it up in a recently surfaced video. Bam said, “Bro what’d I tell you about that bro, stop doing that sh*t bro.”

Not many are aware of what happened. It looks like Bam was told that he was done with interviews for the night and could return to the locker room. However, a reporter had apparently wanted to get one last interview with the Heat defender before he decided to call him out.
Bam has been at the center of attention in the last few hours. His defense against Jamal Murray caught fans’ attention as many believed that it should not have been allowed in the first place.

Murray went for a right-handed layup during the game but Bam seemed to have blocked it, or that’s what the referees believed. Some Twitter fans on the internet claim that it should have been called for goal-tending and it shouldn’t have been a no-call. Regardless, Murray was a nightmare for Bam all night, despite taking the win.
The Heat will be aiming to build on this momentum, and spirits will definitely be high in the locker room. There hasn’t been any team to win against the mighty Nuggets at their arena, and the Heat has done that even with Tyler Herro on the sidelines.
