- LeBron James claimed Curry changed the whole narrative around blowout games.
Steph Curry is certainly one of the iconic players in the league right now, who is bound to make history in various aspects before he retires. Of course, the Golden State Warriors are having a tough season, but they could turn things around if they maintain their current pace. Despite facing a ton of setbacks and Curry’s injury, the Warriors are currently 10th in the Western Conference. They could be a major threat in the Play-In Tournament if they make it there by the end of the regular season.

During a recent game against the Memphis Grizzlies, Steph Curry made his 300th three-pointer of the season. Fans reacted by saying, “Steph changed the game and continues to set a very high bar.” Another fan said, “Chef Curry in the kitchen always whipping things up.” It is always a treat to see Curry light up the court. During the 2021-22 season, he surpassed Ray Allen for the most three-point field goals made.
LeBron James claimed no lead is safe with Steph Curry in the picture
There is a strong rivalry between Steph Curry and LeBron James. They have been a part of four straight NBA Finals during the 2010s. However, Curry managed to lead the Warriors to three championships against LeBron. James and the three-point shooting spectacle have mutual respect when all is said and done. Both individuals also happen to be 4x NBA Champions.
During a recent episode of Mind of Game featuring JJ Reddick, the Los Angeles Lakers legend said, “I believe in 08-09 or whenever that little white-skinned f**ker came into the league, that’s in Golden State, he changed that whole narrative.” Reddick and LeBron were discussing how 10 or 20-point leads are never safe these days. However, before Curry came into the league, teams would often bench their star players during a blowout.
Steph Curry has shot over 300 three-pointers five times in his career
Another interesting career stat about Steph Curry is that this isn’t the first time he has crossed 300 made three-pointers. Curry has recorded 300 or more three-pointer five times during his 15-season career. And besides him, Klay Thompson and James Harden are the only two players to have done the same.
Even against the Grizzlies, Curry was not on the floor for too long either. He played for 24 minutes throughout the game but he managed to record four three-pointers. Thompson led the Warriors shooting 5-11 from deep against the Grizzlies. This goes to show how talented not only Curry but even Thompson is. Curry is the only individual with more than 3,000 made three-pointers, while Harden could be the second soon.
