Michael Jordan and Scottie Pippen, two of the most illustrious Chicago Bulls, have been engaged in a bitter spar for a while. After the latter made caustic criticism about the docuseries The Last Dance in 2021, the turmoil really got underway. Jordan has come under fire by Pippen innumerable times since the event.
Recently, he ultimately went beyond as to assert that the founder and CEO of Air Jordan was a “horrible” player. Dennis Rodman, who was simultaneously Pippen’s and Jordan’s former teammate, and numerous other well-known players have commented on the remarks. Early in 2022, the oddball basketball legend entered the symposium for the very first time. He has now returned again and has some specific sentiments for Pippen.
The extent to which each former cohort needed the other has been a big discourse aspect of the conflict between factions. Many would contend that MJ had the potential to have accomplished those six NBA titles with any team of players. Some might counter that Scottie Pippen’s contributions were indispensable for those victories to have prevailed.
“I said earlier in the interview – I keep saying this – I said thank God Michael Jordan got Scottie Pippen. Because Michael couldn’t do it by himself. Michael scored 40 points a game, and Scottie came and just filled in the blank and just made him a major, major superstar“, Dennis asserted. (h/t via Cinema Blend)
Dennis Rodman seemed to endorse the opposing viewpoint of that controversy, though. Whether Pippen was better qualified than Jordan, the Hall of Famer was asked by VladTV following a prolonged interview. Rodman acknowledged that it is an arduous subject, and whilst he failed to offer conclusive aftermath, he did emphasize Pippen’s advantages.
He consistently demonstrated a knack for being an X-factor on championship teams and was typically second in the scoring tally following his partner. And when Air Jordan left basketball to engage in baseball, his on-court companion seized control as the captain of the team.
And as the former NBA player acknowledged in his interview, “Pip” did assist in alleviating the pressure off of his companion because of his scoring skill. Additionally, “The Worm” asserted that his teammate had a hand in modernizing a specific on-court stance.
Scottie Pippen alleged Michael Jordan was a “horrible player”
One of Michael Jordan’s most widely recognized fellow players, Scottie Pippen, recently delivered some unexpected criticism concerning his former teammate. On the Gimme the Hot Sauce podcast, Pippen alleged that Jordan was a “horrible player” and “horrible to play with.”
Prior to entering the Bulls, Pippen claimed to have witnessed Jordan play, and he was “all 1-on-1, shooting bad shots.” He claimed that Jordan was incapable of winning until Pippen accompanied the team.
He also argued the Bulls’ prosperity was a result of the entire team, not Jordan. Michael, according to Pippen, was a “critical” teammate who frequently pulled down other players. He claimed that this rendered him less inclined to put forth his best basketball play.

A variety of individuals have responded unconventionally to Pippen’s statements. Numerous vindicated Jordan, who believe that he was a fantastic player who was cunningly fierce. Others have concurred with Pippen that Jordan may be demanding to play.
In an interview, Pippen made the criticisms while addressing LeBron James in context. It’s conceivable that he was deliberately exaggerating or only implementing a provocative input. According to Pippen, fans exaggerated Jordan’s reputation since he played in an inferior cutthroat era, and James is the best basketball player of all time. His remarks do, however, bring up some intriguing issues regarding Jordan’s legacy.
