The Los Angeles Lakers tried their best but ultimately succumbed to the Sacramento Kings during the second half of the game. LA has been in a positive flow lately and this loss could only help them better over time.

There were a lot of efforts made by the Lakers camp especially with LeBron James taking the lead. Despite the ankle ailment, it seems like James has stopped wreaking havoc. LA has shown a lot of grit over the last couple of games and their role players have seemingly stepped up.

LeBron James finished with 31 points, 5 rebounds, and 14 assists shooting 10-16 from the field. Rui Hachimura certainly had a notable performance finishing with 29 points in 33 minutes. After a fiery game against OKC, D’Angelo Russell took a major step back from his outstanding form.

Ultimately, it was De’Aaron Fox who led the Kings with 44 points. Domantas Sabonis recorded a triple-double of 16 points, 20 rebounds, and 14 assists along with 2 blocks. Malik Monk and Davion Mitchell shot a combined total of 7 three-point field goals. Monk had 26 points coming off the bench.
