The Golden State Warriors fans think that the NBA refs have something against them. They did not have one in the past three games that did not have a heated moment between players. The person who seems the most unhappy is obviously Warriors Head Coach Steve Kerr. Why shouldn’t he be? The ejection of his star players, Klay Thompson and Draymond Green, has cost them the game.
While the Warriors were advancing the ball up the court, Jaden McDaniels and Thompson grabbed hold of each other’s jerseys, which led to an immediate scuffle between the two. “There’s no way Klay Thompson should’ve been thrown out of the game,” Kerr said in the presser after the game.

He tried to explain that Draymond was just trying to defend Klay and not harm Gobert saying, “If you watch the replay, Rudy had his hands on Klay’s neck, and that’s why Draymond went after Rudy.” Head coach Steve Kerr talked with the media following the game and expressed his opinion that Thompson shouldn’t have been sent off.
Draymond Green gets his second ejection in three games
During an altercation with Rudy Gobert, Draymond Green was sent off by the refs. During the fight, Thompson’s jersey was torn, and while defending Klay, Green put Gobert into a headlock, which resulted in his second ejection this season and two free throw attempts for Gobert.
This was Draymond’s second ejection in the past three matches for his team. Following a fight between the Cavs’ Donovan Mitchell and him, Green was ejected from the game recently. But Green is also not a stranger to ejections. This comes after earlier expulsions and suspensions, including the one he received for being unsportsmanlike against the Sacramento Kings in April.
Rudy Gobert referred to Draymond Green’s act as clown behavior
Gobert and Green have exchanged pointed barbs on social media before. Rudy has made another development in the feud, calling Green’s actions “clown behavior” and declaring that he wants to play exclusively alongside Curry. Given his current social media behavior, which includes berating detractors, Green might eventually end his silence.

Due to Curry’s injury report, the Warriors were out for the first time in their in-season tournament without him, which resulted in their fourth straight loss. They faced the same Timberwolves squad that had bullied them just two days earlier. The Warriors, who had struggled terribly on offense in their previous two games, found themselves suddenly without their legendary core of Curry, Thompson, and Green.
However, considering Golden State’s season as a whole, their absences from Tuesday’s fourth straight loss might have ended up being a godsend. Fans will want a greater bounceback from the Dub Nation to prove that the Warriors dynasty is still title-worthy.
