Kristaps Porzingis was injured once again in a match against the Miami Heat
Some fans might remember that Kristaps hurt himself in a game against the Miami Heat a few weeks ago. He landed on the foot of Bam Adebayo and rolled his ankle. As a result, he missed the next 3 games while rehabilitating and recovering from his ankle injury.
“My back is fine. I got a little bit (of a) bump from Bam on a rebound, (but) nothing serious. (I) went to the back (to) make sure it was good, warmed up again, and all good.”

Although it is certainly reassuring to hear that nothing serious occurred to Porzingis, his inability to stay relatively healthy for the Celtics this season might hamper their chances of winning a title come postseason time.
Porzingis’ worrying injury history since joining the Boston Celtics
In all fairness, Porzingis was already considered to be quite an injury-prone player even before joining the Celtics. Nonetheless, there is no denying that he has suffered a plethora of injuries during his first season as a member of the Boston Celtics. KP has injured his ankle, knee, calf, ribs, and even his eye in a little more than half an NBA season.
As a result, Porzingis has played in just 39 games out of the 53 total games for the Boston Celtics. However, he has been quite an impactful player when on the court and has averaged 20.4 points, 7 rebounds and 1.9 assists this season.
