It is certainly bold for a player who has barely averaged 11 points throughout his NBA career to claim to be on par with LeBron James. Even if it were in a Drew League game. However, this is not the first time that Nick Young has made controversial statements about LeBron’s situation with the Lakers.
Some fans might know that Young went on the No Chill Podcast with Gilbert Arenas around 10 months ago. On it, he made it clear that LeBron should take a backseat when it comes to scoring and leave things up to Anthony Davis. Especially since the Lakers weren’t seeing too much success at the time.
