NBA fans were caught off guard to see a picture of LeBron James’ jersey placed alongside Bronny James. As many of us should certainly know, Bronny is the eldest son of King James and is expected by many to follow in his father’s footsteps and play in the NBA.
Although he suffered a cardiac arrest and has been sidelined from returning to practice, Bronny’s dreams of making it to the NBA and playing with his father appear far from over. Despite the fact that he is still in college and a few years away from making it to the NBA, LeBron certainly seems to be promoting the idea of playing alongside his son on social media.
With that being said, let us take a closer look at how NBA fans reacted upon seeing the jerseys of LeBron James and Bronny side by side.

Since we are so used to referring to LeBron’s eldest son as Bronny, some fans actually forgot that his name is LeBron James Jr. Despite his recent health scare, Bronny has still been receiving an incredible amount of attention from the basketball community as a potential NBA star and LeBron certainly seems to be promoting the same.

The picture posted on Instagram by ESPN and Sportscenter is of LeBron’s #6 jersey for the Lakers and Bronny’s James Jr. jersey for USC. Upon noticing these pictures, some fans were quick to point out that this is a moment of pride for LeBron, “As a father, I know this is a priceless moment for them. So dope to see.”
Although the majority of comments were positive, there was a fair share of haters who instantly pointed out that Bronny has done nothing to deserve the attention that he has been given from the media other than being LeBron’s son, “Bronny ain’t done a dam thing but live off his daddy’s name.”
Keen-eyed fans who took a closer look at the picture also noticed that there were other jerseys right behind Bronny’s and that all of this was merely a facade promoted by the Lakers star. Some even mocked the state of the t-shirts and pointed out that they should have been ironed before a photograph was taken.
In any case, we are glad to see that Bronny’s NBA aspirations are alive and kicking. Hopefully, he will be able to get past his medical complications and prove all doubters wrong in the near future. That would undoubtedly make LeBron as proud a father as one can expect to be.
