The idea of having an undefeated record of 78-0 against someone in professional sports is possible, in dreams. However, an NBA meme page on Twitter sent a viral tweet about LeBron James’ undefeated record against referee Scott Foster. This is a scenario that is possible in an alternative universe but not in this world. Foster and James have probably not been in the same game for more than 50 games.

The entire internet was fooled by the meme account. Similarly, a tweet sent out earlier also went viral about James’ record with Eric Lewis as the referee. The page claimed that the King is 0-82 with Lewis officiating which is completely false as well. Even though these records are false, LeBron has had a weird history with Foster and Lewis in the past.
LeBron James is now 0-82 in his career in games officiated by Eric Lewis.

Lewis had a blunder of a game once when the Los Angeles Lakers took on the Boston Celtics. The referee had several calls issued against the Lakers for contacts that never happened. Scott Foster on the other hand has a terrible reputation as an NBA official. The most recent instance between him and James was during the Suns vs Lakers playoff series two years ago. Foster allegedly called pointless fouls for which even analysts slammed the referee.
Why is Scott Foster disliked by NBA fans?
A loyal Chris Paul stan would write a book about this question. Scott Foster isn’t known for his refereeing or the decisions that he makes. The NBA official has been slammed several times by fans and players of the league. CP3 happens to be Foster’s biggest hater among the players. However, Paul is not the only athlete who has had trouble with Scott’s officiating.
Even though he had the entire basketball community at his neck, Scott Foster is a veteran in the referee’s association. He started his career as an NBA official back in the early 90s and officiated games of several big names around the league. Foster has been with the NBA for 29 seasons and was a referee in nearly 1700 games. He was part of the officiating squad during the Celtics vs Lakers in 2010.
Foster even has experience working at the college level. But with the years of experience he has, Foster has never lived up to it. In an unofficial poll held from NBA pages on social media, he was voted as the worst referee of all time. This poll also included Tony Brothers, another official known for his unreasonable calls. Fans have even requested the league to sack Foster apparently because of how bad he is.
