Kevin Porter Jr. is a fairly new face in the NBA who is trying his best to emerge on top. However, things recently fell apart for the young athlete as he was booked for physically assaulting his 26-year-old girlfriend. Right now, sources reveal that KPJ is currently in police custody as they further investigate the issue. This may change the course of his career completely as well.
The incident stemmed after the Houston Rockets guard returned to his hotel room late after a night out in New York. Kysre Gondrezick, his girlfriend was in the room and didn’t allow him to come in when he returned. The police told the media that Porter found his way in with the help of hotel security. Once he got in, the NBA star began to confront Gondrezick. But there isn’t any solid evidence of what would have triggered Porter to this extreme.

Kevin Porter Jr. was taken into police custody a little after dawn. A video of him exiting the precinct No.17 in New York went viral as fans began to criticize him for what he had done. The NBA’s spokesperson, Mike Bass revealed the league is currently investigating the issue. About his future in the NBA, there hasn’t been much revealed. However, the league strongly discourages violence of any form, and this might put his career in jeopardy.
Fans react to bone-chilling updates on Kysre Gondrezick after being assaulted by Kevin Porter Jr.
Sources recently revealed what went down following the assault by Kevin Porter Jr. It turns out, Kysre Gondrezick was discovered running down the Millennium Hotel’s hallway covered in blood. The WNBA free agent was rushed to the hospital shortly after authorities reached the crime scene. However, this case seems to be far more gruesome than expected. Medical professionals revealed that Gonderzick suffered from a fractured neck vertebrae and a laceration on her face.
This properly explains why Kysre’s sister Kalabrya Gondrezick-Haskins sent a chilling threat to Kevin Porter Jr. via Instagram. “@kevinporterjr if you think you gone touch my sister & not get touched. Count ya fu*king days. Better hope and pray you’ll be able to ever walk again let alone dribble,” a part of her message said. Fans were also left disgusted by his actions as one said, “Kick him out the league.” Another fan said, “KPJ gotta be in prison.”

A police spokesperson told the Houston Chronicle, “A preliminary investigation on scene determined that a known individual struck her multiple times upon her body and placed his hands around her neck.” A Manhattan District Attorney said that it was a very serious case of domestic violence. A broken neck could lead to paralysis or even death. These are the only updates on Kysre’s condition as the story further develops
