Kevin Garnett was one of the toughest NBA players to crack through from a mental standpoint. He was famous for bullying people on the court and taking advantage of their emotions to dominate. The former Boston Celtics forward had a few rivalries as a result of his antics on the court. For example, the time he got into a verbal feud with Carmelo Anthony over a decade ago. Things did not end well for both players, however, they ended up squashing their beef.
Recently, the Hall of Famer was spotted at a Colorado Buffaloes vs. USC Trojans game. Garnett was accompanied by his good friend and former teammate Paul Pierce as well. The two were in good spirits ahead of the college football game that had a bunch of other celebrities and athletes excited to be in attendance. Most of them were there to support Deion Sanders in his venture to lead Colorado up the rankings this year.

Coach Prime has been on a roll lately and the Buffaloes have caught the attention of football fanatics country-wide. He along with his sons, Shilo and Shedeur have been pushing through all odds. Colorado was ranked among the worst teams in the NCAA football scene last year. As of now, they are ranked 8th in the American Athletic Conference and a win against USC will help them secure a spot higher up in the rankings.
Shilo Sanders challenged Kevin Garnett and Paul Pierce to a 2v2 basketball game
Just before making an appearance on the football field, Kevin Garnett and Paul Pierce met Deion’s son Shilo. The 23-year-old has been having a fantastic year so far and his confidence extended to challenging the all-time great to a 2v2 basketball game. Garnett, Pierce, and the Sanders brothers shared a hilarious interaction. “Me and Shedeur vs. y’all two!” said Shilo with a big smile on his face.
Kevin Garnett almost couldn’t believe it and he laughed it off saying that it wouldn’t be an easy challenge. Garnett asked Shilo, “How tall are you though?” and proceeded to indicate that the Sanders wouldn’t be able to compete with their grown man strength. Shilo shrugged off and claimed that they [Shedeur and himself] can get physical. Pierce kept insisting that he and his Celtics teammate were too strong to compete against.

Shilo simply claimed that it didn’t matter. He also claimed that their defensive abilities could stop the Celtics duo as well. All four men ended up laughing it off and were in good spirits. Kevin Garnett also took the joke pretty well considering how competitive he used to get.
