The Miami Heat has made history, as the team becomes the second team ever to make the NBA Finals, coming all the way up from an 8th seed. Led by Jimmy Butler, Miami’s journey to the Finals would’ve been smooth, though the Heat blew a 3-0 lead in the Conference Finals. Regardless, Miami took Game 7 versus the Celtics to make it to the Finals yet again. Behind their run, Butler has played a huge role. Jimmy’s performance in the playoffs has been different.

Throughout the regular season, Miami didn’t seem to make it to the postseason. The Heat settled for a Play-In spot, in which they would lose the first game. Miami got a second chance to make it to the playoffs as an eighth seed, as they would finally appear in the postseason picture.
The Heat got past the best team of the season, the Bucks in the first round. They then faced the Knicks in the Conference Semis, as the team would end the series in six games. Following a tough Conference Finals series against the Celtics, Miami made its way back to the Finals.
Jimmy Butler has his post-championship plans set already
Butler has been phenomenal so far into the playoffs. He has established his name among the top players in this postseason. Jimmy has been averaging 28 points, 7 rebounds, and 5 assists a game on a 48% shooting efficiency.
His postseason stats have just gotten better over the years. Ever since his arrival in Miami, Butler’s game has been one to notice. He led the team to the Finals in his first season playing for Miami. Playoff Jimmy has taken the league by storm, as the Heat is in the midst of making history.

Though for Butler, history has been made already. Jimmy filed a trademark for ‘Himmy Buckets’ as he plans to start a clothing line and launch a beverage. This comes ahead of the Finals opener, with Butler hinting the fans to celebrate already. Prior to Game 7 of the East Finals, the Heat had booked their flights for Denver. Their decision wasn’t wasted at all as the Heat did advance to the Finals.

The current situation is pretty similar, as Jimmy looks highly optimistic ahead of the Finals. The Nuggets on the other hand will enter the Finals having faced only three losses in the West. Both the teams deserve to win the title, the Nuggets who have been struggling for the past few seasons, and the Heat who have made a historic postseason run. It will be interesting to see how the Heat will hold off the Nuggets in the Finals.
