Neemias Queta has made a name for himself in the basketball world. He recently made history by becoming the first-ever Portuguese player to sign a full contract in the NBA. The Boston Celtics announced that Queta’s two-way contract has been converted to a standard deal. This makes Queta eligible for the playoff run later this month and his fans will be able to witness more of his incredible performances.
After being waived off by the Sacramento Kings, Queta signed a two-way deal with the Celtics. The 2023-24 campaign was split between the Celtics and their G-League affiliate in Maine. This season, he played 26 games averaging 4.6 points and 4.1 rebounds over 11.4 minutes per game. Queta’s career in the G League has been flourishing as he is making a significant impact.
