One fan said, “It was a match made in heaven from the start.” Another fan commented, “This shit gold man.” Doncic was fairly new to the NBA and he was just starting his career. Now, much like Kyrie Irving himself, Doncic has transformed into one of the biggest stars of the NBA. While Luka did not have to address his comments, Kyrie had to apologize to science teachers about his stance on the Earth being flat.
Shaquille O’Neal sided with Kyrie Irving with a flat-earth theory opinion
It turns out, that Kyrie Irving isn’t alone. Several individuals across the world have the same notion about the Earth being flat. Some believe that the planet is flat based on flight paths. Shaquille O’Neal explained this theory fairly well during an appearance on the Kyle & Jackie O Show in 2022. O’Neal described exactly why he thinks the Earth isn’t round.
“I flew 20 hours today, not once did I go this way… didn’t tip over… go upside down,” he told Kyle Sandiland. The host of the show tried to counter Shaq. He asked Shaq how could people fly to the other side of the planet in a completely different direction. Shaq responded, “It’s still a straight line, you don’t go under.” However, O’Neal doubled down on the theory claiming that he didn’t like analysing such things to figure them out. Shaq addressed his beliefs on Jimmy Kimmel Live as well.
He just listens to theories for what they are. But unlike Shaq, Kyrie Irving has been a controversial figure for so many different reasons. The Dallas Mavericks star has had various opinions on Thanksgiving, the COVID-19 pandemic, and the vaccination. But this doesn’t avoid the fact that he is extremely talented on the floor.
