LeBron James has been struggling massively with injuries this year. He hasn’t been able to stay healthy and it is worrying for Los Angeles Lakers fans to witness the veteran have a hard time. LeBron has played 47 games this year and averaged 29.5 points, 8.4 rebounds, and 6.9 assists. It is surely impressive considering his age of 38 years old.
King James recently suffered a foot injury against the Dallas Mavericks and has not been able to feature for the 17x NBA champs. LeBron was caught saying “I heard it pop” at the time of the injury. It was a foot injury that turned out to be more serious than the world thought. Recently, the Lakers re-evaluated LeBron after three works and a possible return timeline has been reported.
LeBron James slams media amid injury woes
Sources mention that LeBron is sidelined due to a foot tendon injury. There has been plenty of doubts over his injury status as fans wonder if he’s really injured. The main reason for these doubts was the fact that LeBron was spotted at a Kendrick Lamar concert recently. However, the truth is that the clip was from a few months ago and was resurfaced on the internet.
LeBron James continues his on-court activity and is on a “gradual basketball movement progression,” the Lakers said on Thursday. There is no specific timeline for his return to game action, according to the team.

Although this is a huge blow for the Lakers, there might be some good news for their fans. There have been reports that mention LeBron could make a comeback for the final 3-4 games of the regular season. The Lakers play their last game on April 9 against the Chicago Bulls. It certainly looks like these reports could be false, according to the man himself.
There wasn’t an evaluation today and there hasn’t been any target date for my return. I’m just working around the clock, every day(3X a day) to give myself to best chance of coming back full strength whenever that is. God bless y’all sources. 🤦🏾♂️ I speak for myself!

LeBron took to Twitter and wrote, “There wasn’t an evaluation today and there hasn’t been any target date for my return. I’m just working around the clock, every day(3X a day) to give myself to best chance of coming back full strength whenever that is. God bless y’all sources. I speak for myself!”
Considering LeBron’s popularity and the demand for all the latest news about him, it isn’t all that surprising to know that there has been plenty of speculation around his return date.
The Lakers were performing decently right after the trade deadline. D’Angelo Russell, Jarred Vanderbilt, and Rui Hachimura, have all settled into the team well. It certainly does not feel like the team has come together very recently. However, they have been unlucky with injuries to some of their key players. D-Lo was hit with an ankle injury, and Anthony Davis has been struggling with a stress injury on his foot as well.
