Isaiah Stewart is 6 feet 8 inches and 250 pounds, and he’s definitely a guy you don’t want to find yourself messing with. We witnessed it when he chased down LeBron James after he took a dirty shot that bloodied Stewart’s eye. It took security and the whole Pistons squad to keep Stewart from touching LeBron. The whole scuffle resulted in an incident that looked like watching WWE.
Gilbert Arenas, a former three-time NBA All-Star and known troublemaker, was blunt in his description of the incident. He just recalled how humorously he pulled out of what, in his opinion, would have been a beatdown. “He was bigger than I thought He big on TV. I got a big TV. He was big on TV, but he was really big in person, and then he came with Debo energy, right? So, I backed up, like, ‘Hey, how you doing big fella?” he said.

The outspoken three-time All-Star originally made light of the incident by joking that he heroically disciplined Stewart for pulling up on him. But that was not the case. He advised the Pistons center to get ready for a potential trade in a comical yet cautionary message on Instagram. He made fun of the arrogance of charging at a basketball superstar like LeBron James on live television.
Arenas joked that Stewart could even have to take a drug test, implying that such conduct is extremely uncommon. Agent Zero finally acknowledged that he was so terrified that he ended up applauding and cheering for Stewart when he participated in the game. What’s crazier is that, just in case the Pistons big man was watching, Gilbert ended up booing his friends Jennings and McCants.
The aftermath of LeBron James and Isaiah Stewart’s clash
LeBron James was ejected from the Lakers-Pistons game following the incident. It was just his second time getting ejected in his long career that he had been involved in a similar altercation. It’s clear that both players got caught up in the rush of the moment, which caused a fight that attracted a lot of interest from the NBA community.

Due to LeBron James’ maturity and desire to make amends and move on, the NBA will be a better and more respected place as a result of his willingness to face the issue head-on and maybe extend an apology.
Isaiah Stewart was also ejected from the game, which the Pistons ultimately lost by a 5-point deficit. The NBA also gave the big guy a two-game suspension. This suspension has a separate financial impact of almost $45,000. Since then, he has also garnered media attention for other reasons. For example, the argument he had with Golden State Warriors player Draymond Green during the 2022–23 season.
