Draymond Green is known for having a bit of anger in general. This hasn’t necessarily given him the best reputation in the league besides his aggressive on-court presence. But over the years, this is exactly why he’s earned a massive following as well. Even though the former NBA Champion tends to be rough, he’s best known for being a great mentor to his subordinates.
There are many reasons why the Golden State Warriors and its fanbase love the former Defensive Player of the Year as well. Even though his stat line may lack the flashy scoring numbers, it doesn’t avoid the fact that he’s a key player in their schemes. As Stephen Curry previously said, Green plays a massive role in their success. He brings a lot of intensity to every game bit it regular season or the playoffs.

Unfortunately, the Warriors did not get a good chance to defend their title solely because the competition in the Western Conference was much higher than anticipated. Draymond Green also had a bit of a rough patch during free agency but eventually bagged a four-year $100 million contract. Green has always spoken about the brotherhood he dearly respects. And this doesn’t only cut off with his Warriors teammates but extends to his peers.
Draymond Green has not been arrested for backhanding a bartender
Recently, a report regarding Draymond Green’s arrest went viral on the internet. The report claimed that Green was hanging out at a bar when the bartender struck a nerve. It was said that the bartender tried to disrespect his relationship with LeBron James. The two players have a great amount of respect for each other. They’ve also shared a mutual interest in playing alongside each other if they were ever given a chance.

So, after the bartender made fun of James, Draymond Green allegedly backhanded them before the situation escalated. A video circulated by “Hoop Centrol” went viral as Green was taken by the local authorities. However, here’s the catch. There is a well-reputed X (Twitter) account called “Hoop Central“ that reports proper facts. But the account that reported this incident was a parody page.
It is quite easy to be fooled online as several other pages mimic the names of well-known sources. And considering Green’s history of violent behavior, fans were easily fooled by it. Green has been off the radar for a bit mostly because he’s probably preparing the upcoming season that will commence next month. The Warriors will kick off their preseason games against the Los Angeles Lakers. Their opener will be against the Phoenix Suns.
