LeBron James has collaborated with Sony and Playstation to design and develop a limited-edition console and controller. As NBA fans will certainly be aware, the King is still incredibly popular and considered to be the face of the league despite being on the back end of his career.
After all, despite being 38 years old, at times, the Los Angeles Lakers star looks 28 and still quite youthful and energetic. Perhaps, that played a role in his decision to design a new and unique console and controller for PlayStation.
With that being said, NBA fans should undoubtedly want to know more about this new limited-edition console and find out what LeBron had to do with it.

To the few who do not know, PlayStation is a videogame company that has been releasing popular gaming consoles over the years. From the PS2 and PS3 to the PS4 and most latest PS5, the company has come a long way and released several successful gaming consoles and games over the years.
Considering the growing popularity of basketball, PlayStation also heavily promoted the NBA 2K games over the years. This is something that even the players frequently play when looking to kill time or entertain themselves.
LeBron is no exception to this and has revealed that he too is a big fan of PlayStation gaming. Nonetheless, fans were still somewhat surprised to find out that he collaborated with the company to release his own limited-edition console and controller.
It seems that the King personally played a role in the design and styling behind it. He even added inscriptions to the controller, based on his personal journey and struggles. Thus we can see “Nothing is given… Everything is earned” on the body of the controller.
James also sent out a message speaking about what his collaboration meant for him, “It’s still crazy to think a kid from Akron who grew up playing games is getting to create something like this. Designing a console cover and controller with PlayStation that gives a nod to my I Promise students and where we come from is a pretty cool thing. I hope it’s something that continues to inspire everyone who touches it, and that they have a little fun finding meaning in every detail.”
