NBA fans were quick to notice a discrete move that the Golden State Warriors pulled off. As many fans might be aware, Dub Nation has gone through a great amount of changes this NBA offseason. They traded away Jordan Poole to the Washington Wizards and have acquired Chris Paul.

This is a questionable move that fans aren’t very sure about. After all, Jordan Poole is a young and developing player while CP3 is at the very back of his career. Moreover, Poole played a significant role in helping the team win the 2022 NBA championship.

Both Poole and Andrew Wiggins were considered to be the future faces of the Warriors. However, now that Jordan has been traded away, GSW has made the best of the situation. That said, fans should certainly want to know what the Warriors have done and find out more.

Although the NBA has a direct focus and audience in the United States, that does not mean other international investors have no role to play. Some fans might remember that GSW has the word “Rakuten” on their jerseys. The franchise has been associated with Japan for a while now.

Both Andrew Wiggins and Jordan Poole were filmed when the GSW team went on a trip to Japan. The original video was quite heartwarming to see. The NBA stars appeared to enjoy themselves while interacting with pet hedgehogs at a hedgehog cafe. This must have certainly been a unique experience for them.

Recently, the Warriors reposted footage from the hedgehog cafe. However, Jordan Poole was edited out and removed from the new version. Fans were quick to spot this and pointed it out, “Cutting Jordan out of this video is sick.”

At the end of the day, Poole is no longer with the Warriors and the rights to the footage likely belong to the team. Therefore, they have done nothing wrong by editing Poole out. However, fans still feel that it is an act of bad taste especially since Jordan helped the Warriors win a title.

He was likely forced out of the team due to his conflict with Draymond Green and the contract issues that GSW was going through. Hence, the fans are siding with him on this one.
