Caitlin Clark blew up in the basketball community after putting on a show during the 2023 NCAA Tournament. Prior to the event, she was already an incredibly gifted athlete, earning herself several big-time accolades in the mix. The 20-year-old point guard out of West Des Moines, Iowa, showed great competitiveness and posed a serious challenge to her opponents. The women’s basketball community witnessed their future right in front of their eyes.
Coming into the 2023 NCAA Finals, Caitlin Clark and the Iowa Hawkeyes were considered the favorites to win the title. Clark had an impressive run prior to the championship round. She broke the record for most total points in an NCAA tournament with 191 points. Clark dethroned former record holder Sheryl Swoopes, another legend of the sport. She also averaged an incredible 27.8 points, 7.1 rebounds, and 8.6 assists per game this year.

But her luck ran out against the LSU Tigers and Angel Reese, who took the victory that night. People probably believe that most of her endorsers would have pulled out of their deals. But the story is quite the opposite. Reese has become increasingly popular ever since winning the title, but Clark always had fans’ hearts. She gained $547,000 in profit over the last month, a total far more than what Reese earned. Her net worth currently stands at $739,000.
