SUMMARY
- Caitlin Clark saw a major spike in her NIL valuation which currently stands at $3.1 million.
- She has overtaken Angel Reese as the second highest NIL earners amongst female collegiate athletes.
Caitlin Clark has set the bar extremely high for those who are expected to exceed her work. But chances are, nobody will match her incredible college run. The 22-year-old has been exceptional this season leading the Iowa Hawkeyes to another potentially deep run in the NCAA tournament. It was unfortunate that the Hawkeyes couldn’t close out their season with a title. But they certainly hope to redeem themselves this year.
Even though Iowa has only managed to be the second-best team in the Big Ten conference, they recently managed to beat the top-seeded Ohio State. During that game, Clark solidified herself as the all-time points leader in the NCAA. And over the past month, the former NCAA finalist has broken multiple other regular season records.
Caitlin Clark has passed Angel Reese as the second-highest female athlete NIL earner
Between February 29 and March 1, Caitlin Clark saw a massive rise in her NIL valuation. After ending February at $910,000, she began March at a total valuation of $3.1 million. The incredible 237% spike in her valuation was due to her emergence this season, especially over the previous month. She also managed to overtake Angel Reese, whose NIL valuation stands at $1.7 million.
Caitlin Clark drove in such high ratings that Fox executives considered reaching out to other networks to come up with an NIL deal to get her to stay at Iowa.
Clark was never approached with an offer, though, as she announced her decision to go pro before talks developed.

Right now, Clark ranks first amongst women’s college basketball athletes in NIL valuation and second among female collegiate athletes. This comes as a major blow to Reese’s dominance over the Hawkeyes star ever since leading the LSU Tigers to the title last season. But Clark has been on a rampage lately, earning a lot of recognition from legends of the sport. She is considered the greatest college basketball ever at this point.
Caitlin Clark has had a major comeback season since losing to Angel Reese last year
Last season, Caitlin Clark had an exceptional run leading the Hawkeyes to the NCAA Tournament Finals. She averaged 27.8 points, 7.1 rebounds, and 8.6 assists per game. However, LSU has a tighter team led by Reese who averaged 23 points and 15.4 rebounds on 2.3 assists, 1.8 steals, and 1.6 blocks per game. Clark and Reese entered a heated duel during the finals, but the Tigers were able to have the last laugh.
Just like the Hawkeyes, Reese and the Tigers rank second in the Southeastern Conference. But it seems like Reese is a mere shell of what she was last season. Caitlin has certainly overtaken the ESPY Award-winning basketball player. Clark is currently averaging 32.2 points, 7.4 rebounds, and 8.7 assists per game. She has also been shooting at least 5 three-pointers per game. These stats are probably the best college basketball fans have witnessed in recent times.
