The Milwaukee Bucks recently lost to the Toronto Raptors by 111-117. With this loss, the franchise has now recorded three straight freefalls and everyone has been disappointed, to say the least. After the losing game against the Raptors, Doc Rivers sat for the postgame interview and finally took the responsibility for the past three disastrous performances.
In the interview, the head coach spoke about how the last three games were against bad teams and emphasized that it is inexcusable for everyone. “As I told him I said this is on me, I got to figure out what we got to do to play at a higher pace,” Rivers said as he finally took the responsibility. In addition to this, he spoke about how their performance went down after the first quarter against the Canadian franchise.
Furthermore, fans who have been trolling the Bucks head coach for a while now have rejoiced as he finally took the responsibility. One of the fans commented, “Hold on a second. Did he just throw HIMSELF under the bus? Let’s go baby we are so back.” Another commented, “Actually taking accountability for once instead of blaming the equipment managers is refreshing,” while referring to his previous interviews.
Doc Rivers previously talked about being unprofessional
Doc Rivers has unexpectedly lost the last three games. The Canadian franchise hadn’t won a single game since March 3 and was able to beat the Bucks in a fairly comfortable way. Before this, the Milwaukee-based franchise lost to the Washington Wizards and the Memphis Grizzlies which is considered to be one of the worst in the Western Conference.
Doc Rivers:
“I’ve actually been sitting back and watching everything… We don’t bring the necessary professionalism, seriousness on the road… Everyone seems happy, you know except for me after our game.”

Gilbert Arenas rips Doc Rivers apart amidst Bucks’ struggles
Former NBA player Gilbert Arenas did not hesitate to express his disappointment at the Bucks’ head coach after their second consecutive loss. In the latest episode of Gil’s Arena’ podcast, he was asked about the current situation of the Milwaukee-based team and he responded by saying, “I was Doc Rivers, baby. I was sleeping on the job,” with a strong tone.
Furthermore, he emphasized that Rivers is just collecting his check before stating, “because ain’t no damn way he’s coaching, I can tell you that for sure.” In the same podcast, Arenas also spoke about how if he had the power then he would never hire Rivers as a coach. This decision is something that the Bucks’ disappointed fans wants the franchise to consider as well.
