Bronny James finally discussed his Cardiac arrest and his current state of mind and health. As many NBA fans should be aware, Bronny is Los Angeles Lakers star LeBron James’ eldest son and is expected by the majority of fans to follow in his father’s footsteps and pursue a career in the NBA.
Members of the NBA world who have been following the news for the past few months will know that Bronny sustained an unexpected setback due to a Cardiac arrest and has not played basketball since July. After around 5 months of treatment, monitoring, and rehabilitation, Bronny was finally able to make his return to the court and play for the USC Trojans.
Following his college debut, Bronny was interviewed and the basketball media finally had the opportunity to ask him about his challenges over the past several months. That said, fans might be interested in hearing what Bronny had to say about his medical scare and experience.
Bronny James thanks his family and Mayo Clinic for aiding his recovery
Since Bronny appears to have made a full recovery, one would assume that things will go back to normal in no time. However, that wouldn’t really be a fair assessment of the situation. After all, sustaining a Cardiac arrest can be considered a death sentence for any aspiring professional athlete.
“I just wanna say I’m thankful for everything. Mayo Clinic, everything they helped me with. My parents, siblings supporting me through this hard time in my life. I just want to give appreciation for everyone who helped me through this.”
Bronny thanks the medical professionals, USC teammates, and his family for helping him return to the court after his college debut today 🙏
