NBA fans are loving how Brandon Miller is responding to all the negative attention that has been generated toward him over the past few weeks. Most of us are aware that Miller was linked to the Darius Miles Capital murder case, a crime that took the life of an innocent woman named Jamea Jonae Harris.
Brandon was initially linked to the case simply because he played a role in Darius Miles obtaining the gun used for the shooting. However, his attorney soon released a statement that appears to clear him. Perhaps this weight being removed from his shoulders has unlocked a higher level of play for the young athlete.

That is the only explanation we can come up with for his recent performance. Fans might want to take a closer look at what he accomplished and how people are reacting on social media.
Brandon Miller scored 41 points against South Carolina after being linked to the Darius Miles case
There is no denying that Miller was already a top NBA draft prospect heading into this year. In the wake of being linked to this crime, he put up an impressive 41 points to carry his team, the Alabama Crimson Tide over South Carolina. This was a game where his team needed every bucket from him and even got forced into overtime. Nonetheless, thanks to Miller’s elite play, his team managed to hold on and win this game.
NBA fans are absolutely loving this. After all, there is no better way for a basketball player to respond to controversy than by balling out. It certainly gives the media something more positive to talk about and portrays the player from a different angle, “Bro hooping like Kobe during that ra_e trial”
bro hooping like kobe during that r_pe trial 😭

This is something that superstars in the league have gone through multiple times. Even the Los Angeles Lakers legend Kobe Bryant was charged with a sexual assault and rape case. However, he simply weathered the media storm and continued focusing on basketball. As a result of that, he managed to win two more coveted NBA championships for the Los Angeles Lakers.

Since Miller is not going to be charged with anything for the crime, his NBA career doesn’t look all that compromised. If he continues to play at this level, he will still be offered chances to play for an NBA franchise when or if he finally declares for the 2023 NBA Draft.
