Bradley Beal of the Phoenix Suns has suffered a major blow once again. The NBA and Suns’ fans were hoping to see all three, Devin Booker, Kevin Durant, and Bradley Beal in action but due to Beal’s injury they will have to wait a bit more now.
In an attempt to form a new “Big Three” with Kevin Durant and Devin Booker, Beal was acquired from the Washington Wizards in the offseason in exchange for Chris Paul, Landry Shamet, and four future first-round selection swaps. However, that trio has yet to play together because of numerous ailments (Booker has only made three appearances).

The Phoenix Suns announced on Friday that standout player Bradley Beal will be sidelined for at least three weeks due to a lower back issue. Due to a back problem, the seasoned guard was only able to participate in three matches this season and was also limited in training camp.
It remains to be seen how Beal recovers from this setback. Injuries have seemed to ruin the momentum for the Suns this season. The NBA and Suns fans will have to wait a little bit more to see all of their three-star players in action.
When will Bradley Beal return?
Bradley Beal is expected to return after three weeks as he is currently ailing a back injury that has kept him out of action for the start of the NBA season. It has been a tough start for Beal and the Suns in the NBA as many of their players have been injured over a while.

Due to the injury, Beal has only appeared in three games in 2023–24. He joined the Suns via trade from the Washington Wizards in the offseason, and he made his debut on November 8. Throughout those three games, he averaged 17.3 points, 5.3 rebounds, and 3.7 assists in 28.7 minutes according to StatMuse.
Bradley Beal’s absence shouldn’t affect the Phoenix Suns’ performance
Although the Phoenix Suns will miss Bradley Beal for almost three weeks according to the Suns’ statement, they should most likely manage the upcoming games. They have enough firepower in the squad to see off the teams that they will be facing in these three weeks.
INJURY UPDATE: The Phoenix Suns today announced that guard Bradley Beal will be out and re-evaluated in three weeks as he continues to rehab a low back strain. This timeline was determined following further evaluation and consultation on his injury.

In a victory over the Minnesota Timberwolves on the 15th of November, Booker made his comeback from a calf injury and scored 31 points (StatMuse), which is encouraging news on that front. Although he only played 25 minutes, his return will help relieve some of Durant’s workload and enable the Suns to always have one of their studs on the court.
It remains to be seen how the Suns manage the injury status of Beal as he is an important player for the team. If the Suns were to achieve any success this season then they have to get Beal up and running at all costs or else it will lead to a major problem in the future.
