A prominent member of the NBA media recently revealed his firm belief in the fact that the New York Knicks are likely to sign a real superstar in the near future. Although the team hasn’t seen much success in terms of winning NBA championships since 1973, it has fallen off the radar as far as legitimate title contenders go. However, the Knicks ended up falling short to the Miami Heat in the Eastern Conference Semi-Finals.
Bill Simmons knows that the Knicks have several future assets to offer other teams in return for acquiring NBA superstars. He recently revealed his confidence that New York would be able to secure a superstar such as Giannis Antetokounmpo, Joel Embiid, or even Donovan Mitchell.

There have already been several reports that the New York Knicks are ready to pick up Joel Embiid if his situation with the 76ers declines. Additionally, Giannis has also made it clear to the Milwaukee Bucks that he could potentially leave if they are not on the same page.
Even if both these NBA stars remain with their teams, Bill Simmons is convinced that the Knicks will still be able to acquire Cavaliers star Donovan Mitchell. In any case, we can expect the Knicks to make some big moves next year.
