Andrew Wiggins missed his 7th straight game for the Golden State Warriors last time out against the Los Angeles Clippers. This season, he has missed games due to injuries, however, this time it is due to family issues. Nonetheless, Wiggins is a true professional and knows his duty toward the organization. Since joining the Warriors, he is a key player for them in their title defense this season against top teams.
Despite the Warriors’ best efforts, they are 5th in a highly competitive Western Conference. Nonetheless, it looks as though the Warriors are finding their footing, and look eager for the games ahead. One issue still lingers, is the injury concerns, and the unavailability of Wiggins due to a non-injury absence is critical. Wiggins made a significant contribution on last season’s road to the championship.
Andrew Wiggins will miss his 7th straight game due to a “family matter,” per @anthonyVslater.

This season he is averaging 17.1 points, 2.3 assists, and 5.0 rebounds. It’s not the number that truly speaks about his importance in the team. He is a solid defensive player for the Warriors. For reference, he was in full lockdown mode against Jayson Tatum and came out on top. It is likely, that Wiggins will be taking a little more time before he hit the ground running again. Wiggins is taking a long time, which means it is something serious, though the prayers of the fans are with him and his family.
When will Andrew Wiggins return for the Golden State Warriors?
The Warriors will be hosting the Los Angeles Lakers in their next game, we can assume that Wiggins may not make an appearance. However, Warriors GM, Bob Myers has some news for the Dubs fans who may take slight joy in it, regarding Wiggins.
On 95.7 The Games, “I don’t think that’s what anybody is planning for. But we’ll leave that in its own place. That’s not the expectation. I think what you’re asking is — could he remain out for a long, long time? I don’t think that’s happening. I’m going to leave that alone.”Said Myers in the interview. The warriors GM will leave out the topic of his absence, as it looks to be a sensitive matter, and wish the best for him.

However, “Hopefully when he gets back, whatever words he would like to say on it, which I don’t think will be much – it’s his private life – he will do.” added Myers. The Warriors’ GM will not intrude in his private life’s affairs, and will leave it to the Canadian if he wishes to share it with the media.
