NBA experts believe that the Golden State Warriors and Sacramento Kings are two teams that are seriously interested in acquiring Zach LaVine. As the majority of the basketball community should be aware, LaVine is the franchise star for the Chicago Bulls.
The lack of success that LaVine has found with the Bulls ever since joining the team for the 2017-2018 NBA season has greatly increased the amount of trade rumors and discussions surrounding the 28-year-old star.
Although there have been several teams such as the Los Angeles Lakers that have been involved in reported trade discussions and rumors, recent reports indicate that the Sacramento Kings and Golden State Warriors are much more likely to actively pursue LaVine.
Will the Golden State Warriors move on from Chris Paul and make a trade for Zach LaVine?
Since LaVine is quite a good player who could do a lot on a contending team, there is no denying that there has been a lot of interest across the league in acquiring the Bulls star. Recent reports reveal that GSW and the Kings are on the lookout for the LaVine trade market and could potentially engage in a trade.

Between the two teams, it is quite clear that the Warriors are in a worse spot at the moment and could use a player like Zach on their roster. After all, GSW currently holds a record of 17 wins and 18 losses, making them a below-average team at the moment.
In order to acquire LaVine, the Warriors should certainly consider trading away Chris Paul. Although they acquired CP3 this offseason, his age and injury history are undoubtedly a cause for concern. Paul is reported to be dealing with a hand injury and is expected to undergo surgery soon.
If the Warriors slide too far down the table in CP3’s absence, the team might just decide to undo their earlier decision and acquire a younger and more versatile player in Zach LaVine. However, GSW will certainly have to offer the Bulls additional assets along with CP3 in order to make this trade come to fruition. With less than a month remaining before the NBA trade deadline, fans are left wondering if the Bulls will end up trading LaVine away and which team could be his potential future destination.
