Renan Ferreira won the 2023 PFL Heavyweight Championship, defeating Denis Goltsov via TKO at PFL 10. Ryan Bader is the current Bellator Heavyweight Champion with the most successful consecutive heavyweight title defenses in Bellator MMA history. He is also a former UFC fighter and the winner of TUF Season 8 at light heavyweight.

Bader is also the first-ever simultaneous two-weight champion in Bellator. The event will feature four champions from four divisions, which would include heavyweight, middleweight, welterweight, and featherweight. They would be defending their titles with their respective organizations. Thus, the fans would be excited to see the event involving elite fighters from both organizations.
