Clark also recently spoke about adjusting to her new life and being a well-known figure in Indiana. She said, “People definitely know who I am. Sometimes it’s hard to go out and do what I want to do, but at the same time, I wouldn’t want it any other way… I think people, they are just as excited as we are to play here. So I think more than anything, enjoy it, soak it in.” The college basketball phenom turned WNBA pro has an enormous fan base. She has been making waves in women’s basketball as well.
Pacers fans believe Caitlin Clark is their good luck charm
After going 0-2 against the Knicks in Games 1 and 2, the Pacers managed to avoid a 3-0 lead by winning their first home game of the series. The Knicks were coming into this matchup without three starters this time since OG Anunoby was sidelined due to a hamstring injury. Alec Burks and Miles McBride were given big minutes off the bench. But the highlight was Haliburton’s performance and the Pacers’ outstanding win.

“Might be the good luck charm,” one X user commented. Another fan added, “Halliburton must have gotten tips from her.” After Haliburton’s three-pointer in the second quarter, Clark was seen throwing hand gestures to indicate a three. However, some fans also mistook the gestures as gang signs. Needless to say, Clark certainly brought some energy to the game. Haliburton had 35 points while Myles Turner scored 21 points backed by 26 points from Pascal Siakam.
Caitlin Clark receives an overwhelming response from Fever fans
Caitlin Clark has already commenced her professional run in the WNBA. She made her preseason debut against the Dallas Wings earlier this week. It was a sold-out crowd as she scored 21 points in her first pro game. While her first game resulted in a loss, game number two against the Atlanta Dream saw the Indiana Fever secure a victory. Clark wasn’t the best player that night but she surely attracted the masses.
