- WWE is arguably the most popular pro wrestling organization in the world.
- Due to this, their referees also remain a hot topic of discussion among fans, and one such name is Jessica Carr.
WWE is considered to be the biggest promotion in the world of pro wrestling, and its popularity speaks for itself. Such is the global hype of the Triple H-led promotion, not just the in-ring stars but also the referees remain a hot topic of discussion, and Jessica Carr is one of the most popular names on this list.
Born June 25, 1991, Jessica, whose real name is Jessika Heiser, is one of the most well-recognized names among female referees in the pro wrestling industry. It is probably a reason why the Triple H-led promotion shows trust in her and has already given her the opportunity to be a part of some historical moments.
Carr has worked as the referee for some great moments in the Stamford-based promotion, and a similar thing happened during WWE’s Elimination Chamber PLE. In the historic event in Australia, Jessica became the first-ever female referee in an Elimination Chamber match. As she did so during the women’s match, it was truly a memorable moment for everyone, especially the 32-year-old female figure.
When did Jessica Carr sign with WWE?
As the Triple H-led promotion has shown a great deal of confidence in Carr, a lot of people wonder if she’s been with them for a decade. But that’s not really the case, as the female star joined the company in 2017 as a referee under the ring name Jessika Carr.
Ever since signing with the organization, she’s been making history, and it all started with her debut. She became WWE’s first female referee in decades to make an official debut. Joining the Stamford-based promotion did wonders for her, as she became the first woman to referee a match in Saudi Arabia and later became the first female to referee a Hell in a Cell match in October 2021.
Jessica Carr’s pro wrestling career
Even though Jessica is popular for being a referee in WWE, that’s not how her journey in the industry started. In fact, Heiser was previously an in-ring performer, as she did her training at Duane Gill’s Academy of Professional Wrestling in Severn, Maryland. After getting trained, Carr started wrestling under the ring name Jessie Kaye.

Her career got off to a great start, as she won the DCW Women’s Championship on April 28, 2012. After this, she went on to win numerous titles, and she was the inaugural VOW Vixen’s Champion. In addition to this, she became the inaugural ECWA Women’s Champion. After a few years, she shifted it to Ring of Honor, as she made her debut on the October 21, 2016 episode of Women of Honor.
Jessica’s name during this run was Kennadi Brink, but the 5-foot-8 never got into in-ring action after her match on April 22, 2017 at MCW Spring Fever 2017. It was after this that she joined the WWE as a referee, and it’s safe to say that it was a great decision. As Carr continues to touch new heights regularly, it remains to be seen what the Stamford-based promotion has in store for Heiser.
