The road to WrestleMania officially begins on February 1, 2025, with the Royal Rumble, marking the start of the alliance. A future two-night SummerSlam and a future two-night WrestleMania will also take place at Lucas Oil Stadium as part of the agreement, though the exact dates have not yet been announced. Furthermore, arenas in Indianapolis, Fort Wayne, Evansville, and other parts of Indiana will host Raw, SmackDown, NXT, and WWE Live Events.
WrestleMania will be held in Indianapolis for the first time since 1992. SummerSlam will be held in Circle City for the first time since 2008. Chris Legentil, WWE EVP, Talent Relations & Head of Communications had some wise words to say about this partnership. He stated, “Indianapolis is a fantastic city for major events and we’re excited to invite the WWE Universe to Lucas Oil Stadium for Royal Rumble in 2025, and a future SummerSlam and WrestleMania.”

In addition to being the first Premium Live Event held in Minneapolis since TLC: Tables, Ladders, and Chairs in 2019, the 2026 SummerSlam will also be the first stadium event that WWE has held in the city. The dates and venue for WrestleMania 41 were also confirmed a few weeks before the announcement of SummerSlam 2026. After weeks of rumours and confusion, Las Vegas was formally announced as the 2025 event’s host city.
