BKFC is looking to make waves this weekend with a stacked event. However, the main selling point of the event is the return of some big former UFC stars. As such, let’s focus on the two fighters around who the event is built, Luke Rockhold and Mike Perry.
Previously, Luke, 38, bowed out of the UFC after an entertaining back-and-forth with Paulo Costa at UFC 278. Although many favored Costa to brutally finish Rockhold, the veteran showed that he can still hang with the best. Following the fight, Luke revealed in his post-fight press conference, that he wished to retire.

However, Rockhold has since become a free agent, ready and willing to try his hand at a new sport. Thus, Luke has ended up with BKFC and will be making his return against a familiar face in Mike Perry. As for Mike, he has been boxing for some time now. Having taken on Michael Seals, Julian Lane, and Michael “Venom” Page, Perry has grown accustomed to life after UFC.
Luke Rockhold UFC and BKFC salary
For the most part, there isn’t a lot that has been revealed about Luke’s purse in his upcoming BKFC bout. However, with Luke and Perry being the main attraction, they’re expected to earn a significant amount of money. As such, many sources are stating that Rockhold will reportedly earn between $800-700k for his first BKFC fight.
Notably, this is a much higher figure for the former UFC Middleweight champion. During his time with the UFC, Rockhold brought in around $200,000 per fight on average. According to reports, Luke’s highest payout in the UFC was from his loss to Yoel Romero at UFC 221, when he made $485,000. Thus, he is in for a significantly bigger payout this time around.
Mike Perry UFC and BKFC salary
Similarly, Mike Perry is also looking to secure a big bag with his headliner at BKFC 41. Previously, Perry parted ways with the UFC after two back-to-back losses to Daniel Rodriguez and Tim Means. During his time with the UFC, Perry won Performance of the Night twice and Fight of the Night honors twice as well.
However, his time with the UFC was probably not as rewarding as he may have hoped. Thus on average, “Platinum” made just a little over $100,000 per fight on average. As per sources, Mike’s biggest UFC payday was $190,000 against Mickey Gall. In comparison, Perry’s payouts from BKFC have ranged from around $200k and $250k in the past. As for his upcoming fight, Mike is expected to take home $500,000 making it his biggest career payday.
